I am currently an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Prior to joining UCSB, I was an Assistant Professor of Research Methods and Statistics at the Morgridge College of Education, University of Denver.
My research focuses on developing and employing advanced quantitative methods to address complex data and solve diverse research challenges in behavioral science. I have a particular interest in
advancing quantitative methodologies to enhance the consequential basis of validity for measurement.
adapting advanced analytic methods from AI and information science into behavioral research;
methodological issues involved in cross-cultural research.
Beyond my individual research pursuits, I have been working as a quantitative methodologist in various collaborative psychological and educational research projects.
