My primary research interests are focused on using various isotope systems to study changing climate and environment over different time scales and the potential impacts of climate change on different calcifying organisms.
2025/7/2:
This year we have multiple sensors deployed near our Lanyu coral sampling site. We aim to monitor seawater temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen and productivity continuously around the area, and compile the instrumental data with our coral record to better interpret our geochemical data. Stay tuned for our new findings!
2025/6/30:
Congratulations to Dr. Yi-Wei Liu for receiving Excellent Young Scholars award from NSTC 2030 Cross-Generation Young Scholars Program. With the 3-year funding, Dr. Liu will lead the team to further assess calcification responses of coccolithophores to change climates with geochemical and genetic constraints. Please stay tuned for more excited research outputs!
