Yiran Kang

Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at City University of Hong Kong.

My research seeks to understand how accounting information and disclosures facilitate capital formation and allocation, especially in less regulated markets.  

I obtained my Ph. D.  from Columbia Business School. Prior to joining Columbia, I worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley and Moody's and as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. I hold a CPA from the State of New York.
