About

Hello, I'm Yiqiu (pronunciation: "yee-chiu"), a PhD graduate in Computer Science from MIT. My research focuses on designing efficient algorithms and software for multi-core CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators.

I completed my PhD under the guidance of Prof. Julian Shun at MIT CSAIL, where our research introduced impactful parallel algorithms for clustering and geometry. Before that, I earned my Master's degree in Computer Science and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. At Rice, I worked with Prof. Anshumali Shrivastava on developing scalable GPU algorithms for large-scale machine learning.

I currently work at Apple, where my responsibilities primarily involve researching and developing algorithms and compiler software for deep learning accelerators.
