Yingyu Lin

I am a second-year Ph.D. student at UC San Diego. I am fortunate to be advised by Yi-An Ma. I am also fortunate to work with Biwei Huang. Prior to that, I obtained my B.S. degree in Mathematics from Tsinghua University.

My research interest primarily lies in statistical sampling. I am working on bridging Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) and Differential Privacy. Additionally, I am investigating how score matching can facilitate causal discovery.
