Ying Yang 's Website

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Sino-US Global Logistics Institute, Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I obtained my PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University under the supervision of Prof. Shuaian (Hans) Wang. I hold a Master’s degree in Logistics Engineering and Management from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During my PhD, I visited Prof. Ruiwei Jiang in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. In 2026, I worked with Prof. Alexandre Jacquillat and Prof. Hai Wang as a Postdoctoral Associate at Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology.

I am interested in Logistics Optimization, Data Analytics, and Shipping Operations Management. I have published more than 10 papers in journals such as Transportation Research (Part B, Part C, Part E), and Naval Research Logistics.
