Ying Yang 's Website

I am currently a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Hans Wang Shuaian. I will join the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology as a Postdoctoral Associate in January 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Alexandre Jacquillat and Hai Wang. I obtained a master's degree from Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Mingyao Qi and a bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2025, I visited the University of Michigan, hosted by Prof. Ruiwei Jiang.

I am interested in Logistics Optimization, Data Analytics, and Shipping Operations Management. I have published more than 10 papers in journals such as Transportation Research (Part B, Part C, Part E), Naval Research Logistics,  International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Engineering Optimization.
