Biography


Yingxin Zhou is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Information Systems (CIS) at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business of Georgia State University (GSU), under the supervision of Dr. Arun Rai and Dr. Ling Xue. Her main research focuses on human-algorithm collaboration, Fintech, and the economics of IS/IT. Her recent research centers on human–algorithm collaboration, with a focus on content generation, where I concentrate on the substitution–complementation tension. Her work has been nominated for multiple conference awards and presented at various conferences.

She is on the job market in Fall 2025 - Spring 2026. She will attend multiple upcoming conferences, including CIST, the INFORMS Annual Meeting, ICIS, WISE, and HICSS.
