Brief Bio

I am Ying, a theoretical computer architect. Professionally, I am an Electrocal and Computer Engineering graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). My supervisor is Professor Sarita V. Adve.

I am interested in the design of hardware-software interface with the work spanning computer architecture, hardware/software co-design method, and parallel programming.

Prior to my graduate study, I was a research assistant under the supervision of Professor Chi-Ying Tsui and Professor Wing-Hung Ki at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and NeuroTech (HK) Limited for half a year.

I received my Bachelor of Engineering with first-class honor in the Electronic and Computer Engineering from HKUST in the summer of 2019 with two minors in Information Technology and Mathematics. My undergraduate study was supervised by Professor Jiang Xu and Professor Ling Shi.
