What is the 2018 Yonsei International Nursing Conference?

Yonsei University College of Nursing is hosting the 2018 Yonsei International Nursing Conference. This conference is designed to assist nursing researchers, students, clinicians, and leaders to develop, implement, and maintain strategies that will shape the future of nursing. Nurses of all levels are invited to participate in this one day conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other global leaders in nursing.

The College of Nursing at Yonsei University is the first and foremost prestigious nursing education establishment in Korea. Over its 100 year history (from 1906 at Severance Hospital), graduates of the College have gone on to become outstanding professional nurses working as educators, entrepreneurs, welfare administrators and clinical nurses in fields such as medicine, academics, education and business.

Yonsei graduates continue to make improving the quality of life and health of the people of not only Korea but also numerous other countries. Many graduates of the College of Nursing are acknowledged leaders in nursing and society. In 1988, the College of Nursing was designated as the first World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Research and Training for Nursing Development in Primary Health Care in Korea, contributing to the globalization of nursing by serving as the Secretariat of the Global Network of all nursing collaborating centers from 1994 to 1998.
