I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jing Wu. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
I am passionate about understanding how supply chains and firm behavior shape environmental and social outcomes in the global economy. Using tools from econometrics, causal inference, and large-scale text analysis, I examine supply chain transparency and greenwashing in global supply chains. My current research uncovers how firms selectively report supply chain information to manage perceptions of environmental responsibility as well as consumers' and investors' reactions. My research also tackles the practical challenges of measuring and reducing supply chain carbon emissions.
Another area I focus on is the human capital coordination in supply chains. My work develops new ways to measure relationship-specific human capital investment between supply chain partners and examines how labor-based complementarities affect supply chain resilience and firm performance.
I am currently on the 2025-2026 job market. I welcome conversations about research, teaching, and collaborations.
