Yikai Wang

I am a machine learning scientist/engineer in Apple Human Device Interface team on health algorithm development for Apple Watch. My research is focusing on health sensing, wearable device, brain imaging, and machine learning. I graduated from Emory University with PhD degree in Biostatistics and a master degree in public health. I have been a data scientist intern at Facebook integrity team in 2019. I joined Google Operation Data Science (former Operation Decision Support) team as a quantitative analyst intern in 2018 on momentum forecast project. I also have been working as a part time consultant on analytics, statistics, machine/deep learning since 2014.

  • Methodology: Health Sensing; Independent Component Analysis (ICA); Sequential modeling; Graph Convulation Nework; Bayesian Statistics; Machine/Deep Learning.
  • Applications: Wearable Computing; Health Sensing; fMRI Study; Multimodal Imaging Problems; Time Series Forecast; National-scale PM2.5 Calibration Problem; NIRS Time Series Analysis.
