Primary Research Scope:

My primary research directions are to investigate the physiological response to acute/chronic exercise, exercise/sport nutrition, ergogenic aids & nutritional supplement researches using both human and animal models. My research strategy is based on the using of above research models exploring the impacts/underlying mechanism(s) of exercise training, post-exercise recovery, nutritional/dietary interventions on either training adaptations, sport performance, brain health/cognitive functions,  anti-fatigue effects, or metabolic/brain health status in varied populations  (e.g. elite athletes, general healthy populations, elder populations, individuals with diseases, etc.). Based on the obtained findings, we further construct appropriate exercise/recovery/nutrition supplementation strategies for the populations with specific demands.
