With a passion for sharing my home language and culture, teaching Mandarin Chinese becomes my most energizing way to impact others and the community. Currently, I am the Chinese teacher at Pingry School, one of the most top-ranked independent schools in New Jersey and the nation. I work with both middle schoolers and high schoolers on beginning and intermediate level Chinese. Before joining Pingry, I taught Chinese I-IV and AP Chinese at Chatham Hall in Virginia for two years. There I also directed the international program and supervised student residential life. As an educator, I keep myself innovative by constantly learning from my students, colleagues, and the fast changing outside world. My greatest joy is to experiment new activities and technologies in the classroom to help students learn the target language and culture in the most effective way.
