I am a labor economist and applied econometrician. Most of my research centers around the use of expectations data in the economics of education and, more broadly, labor economics. Among other things, I study 1) how individuals make decisions based on their beliefs about unknown decision-influencing factors, 2) how the uncertainty about these factors is resolved, 3) detection and implications of non-rational expectations, and 4) potential measurement issues of expectations data.
I also work on the analysis of the U.S. housing market in general equilibrium settings, using both macroeconomic and urban economic models.
