Notifications Box ("App") helps you view and manage notifications on your Android device. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, where it is stored, and which third-party services are used.
To provide the App's core functionality, the App reads notification events (such as app package name, title, body text, and timestamp) after you grant notification access.
Stored locally on device: Notification history is stored in a local database on your device.
Field-level encryption: Notification title and body text are encrypted before being stored.
Key storage: The encryption key is stored using secure device storage mechanisms.
The App offers a one-time premium unlock (premium_unlock) through Google Play Billing. The App stores premium status locally to enable premium features.
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google Play Billing: Handles purchase and restore flows for premium unlocks. Payment processing is handled by Google Play, not by us.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display ads for non-premium users.
Firebase Analytics: Used to understand aggregate app usage (for example, feature usage, screen interactions, and app stability/engagement trends) so we can improve the product.
These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
We do not operate our own backend server to collect your notification content.
We do not collect your payment card details.
The App may request these Android permissions/features:
Notification Access (android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) to read notifications for history features.
Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS) to allow the app to post/show notifications where required by Android versions.
You can delete individual notifications or clear notification history in the App.
If you uninstall the App, local app data is removed by Android (subject to normal platform behavior and any device backup/restore settings).
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in-app and/or at the public policy URL.
