Professor of Finance Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB)
Yezhou Sha is a professor of Finance of Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB), China. His research covers empirical asset pricing, including market efficiency and household portfolio analysis. Since 2018 he has published over 30 papers in Journal of Economic, Behaviour and Organization, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Pacific-basin Finance Journal, and other peer-reviewed journals. He serves as Subject Editor of Emerging Markets and Finance Trade (2020-present), Associate Editor of Economic Analysis and Policy (2024-present), and as a reviewer of over 30 other recognised journals. He chairs several research projects, including National Science Foundation Youth Programme of China (PI, $54,000), and other 4 projects.
Dr Sha has been appointed as the vice dean of CUEB's School of Statistics and Data Science, a transnational education entity with The University of Arizona. Prior to this, he was a deputy director of CUEB's International Office.
Dr Sha graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK with a Ph.D. in Finance and Risk in 2018. He also holds a Master of Science (with distinction) in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary, University of London, UK (2012), a Bachelor of Management in Business Administration (with outstanding honour) from Capital University of Economics and Business, China (2011).
