Unusual Hobbies

By Aubrey

Every person has their own hobby, even when people have the same hobby! Crafting for an example: one person may like to do one certain craft like doing crafts with paper/origami. But the other person might like to do a different craft like doing projects with wood. It just depends on the person and their personality.

Some people have unusual hobbies or even regular hobbies. All you have to do is think out of the box. Some hobbies can be weird or even relaxing.

I have asked some students at Everest Point what they like to do as a hobby. Here are some of the hobbies around Everest Point!

Did you know that the Gilligan family takes the stickers off of the apples and then they put them on the backsplash behind the counter?!

Miriam D. and her dad do fencing. You may be wondering asking yourself, "What is fencing?" Well, fencing is sword fighting. They fight with long, skinny, and flexible swords. The goal is to touch the other person with the point of your sword, and no, the point of sword isn't sharp and you wear protective clothing anyway.

Joanna S. loves to do crafts because there are so many crafts you can do and so many different types of crafts.

Here are some VERY unusual hobbies. If you want to try any of them, go right ahead!
