Hello, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Child and Family Studies (specializing in development) and Human Life & Innovation Design at Yonsei University, Rep. of Korea.

I earned a master's degree in Family and Gerontology Studies. During my time in the family and gerontology research lab, I developed a strong interest in researching family dynamics and applying a lifespan perspective to family studies. My research has primarily focused on marital and parent-child relationships across the lifespan, with my master's thesis specifically addressing mid-life marital relationships. This work naturally led me to pursue a doctoral program.

Currently, I am interested in expanding my research to explore digital usage within parent-child relationships. I am particularly focused on understanding the role parents should play in the digital world that Generation Alpha, born and raised in the digital era, will grow up in. My research also aims to examine the impact of digital usage on family dynamics and the ideal attitudes or perspectives today's parents should adopt concerning both their own and their children's digital habits.

Additionally, I hope to explore how the development and adoption of digital devices will influence relationships and communication across the lifespan.
