About me

My name is Yeonjoo Park. I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics and Data Science in the College of AI, Cyber and Computing at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). My research focuses on functional data analysis, specifically in developing robust methodological and inferential tools under partially or irregularly observed structures. Besides, I am also interested in spatial data analysis or the application of machine learning techniques to the functional data analysis. I also have collaborative research experiences in the biomedical engineering,  marketing, and communication fields.
