YelBu (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a vehicle record and book-keeping application that helps users track vehicle expenses, incomes, bookings, resale and related reports.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application YelBu (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
YelBu is designed primarily as an online record-keeping tool. The data you enter is mainly stored live server.
1. Data You Enter Manually
When you use the App, you may enter information such as:
¨ Vehicle details (e.g., vehicle name, model, registration number)
¨ Expense records (fuel, service, maintenance, tolls, parking, etc.)
¨ Income records (trip income, hire charges, rental income, etc.)
¨ Booking details (customer name, date, time, purpose, amount)
¨ Resale records (Vehicle details, current value, sale details)
¨ Notes related to your vehicles and transactions
This data is stored on live server.
2. Device Information (Non-Personal)
We may collect basic non-personal information for app performance and analytics, such as:
¨ App version
¨ Device model and OS version
¨ Anonymous usage data (e.g., crashes, screen usage, feature usage)
If collected, this is used only to improve the App’s stability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide in the App for the following purposes:
· To display and manage your vehicle records (expenses, incomes, bookings, resale, and reports)
· To calculate summaries, totals, and reports for your convenience
· To improve the App’s features, functionality, performance and user experience
· To provide customer support if you contact us
We do not sell your data to any third party.
3. Data Storage and Security
· Your data (vehicle records, expenses, incomes etc.) is stored in cloud.
· We recommend you regularly backup your data if the App provides a backup/export feature.
· We use reasonable technical measures to keep the App secure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
· If you change or lose your device, we generally cannot recover your data unless you have used an external backup method provided in the App. The App is working based on device.
4. Third-Party Services
Depending on the implementation, the App may use third-party services such as (for example):
· Crash reporting or analytics services (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics)
· Cloud backup or sync services (if provided)
· These third parties may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Permissions Used by the App
The App may request certain permissions from your device to function properly, such as:
· Storage: to save and read your vehicle data, backups, or exports.

We only request permissions that are necessary for the App’s core features. You can manage these permissions in your device settings, but disabling some permissions may limit certain functionalities.

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 18 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Data Retention
· All records you create (expenses, incomes, bookings, resale etc.) are stored as long as you keep the App and do not delete the data.
· You can delete your data manually inside the App (if such option is provided) or by uninstalling the App from your device.
8. Your Rights and Control
Since data is primarily stored cloud, you have full control:
· You can add, update, or delete your entries at any time within the App.
· You can uninstall the App at any time, which will normally delete local data on that device.
· If a cloud service is integrated in the future, you may have additional rights such as requesting deletion or export of stored data according to applicable law.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
· We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements.
· When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
