I am Yeganeh Karbalaei, a third-year Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Oklahoma, where I recently completed my Master’s degree in Applied Economics. My research focuses on Labor Economics, Health Economics, and the intersection of race, gender, and socioeconomic status. I am particularly interested in how structural inequalities impact health and labor market outcomes.

Currently, I am working on a project examining Native American infant mortality, exploring how healthcare access and socioeconomic factors influence early-life health. This research reflects my broader commitment to studying disparities and advancing social and economic equity.
