It’s hard to believe that the immense pain of death and loss is a normal part of life for everyone at some time. There are others around me who have experienced this kind of pain and I can learn from their experience.
While my heart weeps deeply and at times wrenchingly, I am also aware that the magnitude of grief is because of the depth and significance of love.
There are moments when I can feel the intensity of my emotional pain in my body. I will acknowledge what my body is telling me by resting, nourishing myself, practising self-care, and exploring movement.
