We do NOT permanently store any images you translate
All image processing is done instantly and temporarily
Images are immediately deleted after processing
We do not keep copies of translated images
No image data is shared with third parties for storage
We use the collected information to:
Provide and maintain our translation services
Process your translations and manage your token balance
Authenticate your account
Send important updates about the service
Improve our app and user experience

We use the following third-party services:
Google Cloud Vision API (for OCR)
Google Gemini API (for translation)
Google/Apple/Discord (for authentication)
MongoDB Atlas (for data storage)

By downloading, installing, or using YEA Manga Translator ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
YEA Manga Translator is a mobile application that provides:
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for manga/manhwa images
Translation of detected text into various languages
Image processing to replace original text with translations
3.1 Account Creation You may create an account using Google, Apple, or Discord authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Responsibilities You agree to:
Provide accurate account information
Not share your account with others
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account
4.1 Token Usage The App uses a token-based system for translations. Each page translation consumes 1 token. New users receive 40 free tokens upon registration.
4.2 Earning Tokens You may earn additional tokens by:
Watching advertisements (+5 tokens per ad)
Purchasing token packages
Subscribing to Premium plans
4.3 Token Expiration Tokens do not expire as long as your account remains active. Unused tokens are non-refundable.
You agree NOT to use the App to:
Translate copyrighted content for commercial distribution
Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
Abuse the token system or create multiple accounts
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6.1 App Ownership The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by YEA Manga Translator and protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 User Content You retain ownership of images you submit for translation. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of providing translation services.
6.3 Third-Party Content The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to translate any content they submit.
YEA Manga Translator does NOT host, store, or distribute any manga, manhwa, webtoon, or comic content. We are a translation tool only.
7.1 No Image Storage Important information about image processing:
We do NOT permanently store any images you translate
All images are processed in real-time and instantly
Images are immediately deleted after translation
We do not keep copies of original or translated images
All data processing is temporary and transient
7.2 No Copyright Responsibility We are NOT responsible for any copyright infringement that may occur through the use of this App. All manga, manhwa, and webtoon content belongs to their respective creators, publishers, and rights holders.
THE USER BEARS FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the content they choose to translate and the sources they use.
7.3 No Illegal Site Recommendations YEA Manga Translator:
Does NOT recommend, promote, or endorse any illegal or piracy websites
Does NOT provide links to unauthorized manga distribution sites
Does NOT encourage users to access copyrighted content illegally
Is NOT affiliated with any manga hosting or distribution platforms
7.4 Support Original Creators We strongly encourage users to:
Read manga/manhwa from official and licensed sources
Support original creators by purchasing official releases
Use official platforms like MangaPlus, Crunchyroll, Webtoon, etc.
Subscribe to official translation services when available
7.5 User Responsibility Users are solely responsible for:
The content they choose to translate
The websites and sources they access
Ensuring they have the right to translate content
Complying with copyright laws in their jurisdiction
By using this App, you acknowledge that you will respect copyright laws and the rights of content creators. Any legal consequences arising from misuse are the sole responsibility of the user.
8.1 Translation Accuracy While we strive for accuracy, translations are provided "as is" and may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translation.
8.2 Service Availability We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YEA Manga Translator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
