This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Yatzy: Roll & Score mobile application and web application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

Yatzy: Roll & Score does not require an account and does not directly collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, videos, or payment information.

The App does not use advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party tracking technologies.

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

- Player names entered into a game.

- Current game progress, including dice values, held dice, scores, and game status.

- App preferences, such as language, theme, sound, haptics, and shake-to-roll settings.

- Local review-prompt information, such as the number of app opens and completed actions.

This information is stored locally on your device using the device’s local storage. We do not receive or access this information.

2. Sensors and Device Features

If you enable shake-to-roll, the App may temporarily use your device’s accelerometer to detect shaking.

Accelerometer data is processed in real time only. It is not stored, transmitted, or shared.

The App may use haptic feedback and audio playback when enabled. The App does not record audio and does not request microphone access.

3. Feedback Emails

If you choose to contact us using the feedback feature, your device’s email application may create an email addressed to consultancy.jvn@gmail.com.

Any information you choose to include in that email, including your email address and message, will be received by us and processed to respond to your request.

Email providers may process your message according to their own privacy policies.

4. App Updates

The App may use Expo Application Services to check for and download app updates.

The update service may process limited technical information, such as the device operating system and randomized technical tokens used to determine whether an update is available.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through the App for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Information may be processed by:

- Your device operating system and app store provider.

- Your chosen email provider if you send feedback.

- Expo Application Services when the App checks for updates.

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored locally by the App remains on your device until you remove it by uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s storage or data through your device settings.

We do not maintain a cloud copy of your games, player names, settings, or review-prompt information.

If you contact us by email, we may retain the correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, provide support, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of correspondence you have sent to us by emailing.

7. Children’s Privacy

Yatzy: Roll & Score does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us by email, please contact us at consultancy.jvn@gmail.com so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information that is voluntarily sent to us by email.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Information stored locally on your device is also subject to the security of your device and operating system.

9. International Processing

If you contact us or use services such as Expo Application Services, information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. Those services are responsible for handling information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
