New Insignia for Honors launched

The Bureau of Honors and Decorations, a smaller office part of the Grand Chancellor of the Realm's office on January 19, 2024 Honmyo I has officially launched new insignia for two of it's honors.
The Grand Chancellor of the Realm, Her Excellency Lady Murasaki said that the Order of the Elegant Jewel with Silver (8th Class) and the Order of the Sun Disc with Silver (9th Class) were recently changed after a petition do so had received a majority vote in the House of Councillors.
Order of the Sun Disc in Silver-Gold (9th Class) originally had gold and silver inlays.
The new Insignia only consists of a silver inlayed medallion.
Order of the Elegant Jewel with Silver and Gold (9th Class) consisted of a medallion inlayed with both Gold and Silver.
Order of the Elegant Jewel with Silver (9th Class) consists of a medallion inlayed with obly Silver.
