Welcome! I am a philosopher of science with a special focus in biology and research practices in human genomics.
As of 2027, I will be a cross-appointed Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science in Cambridge and the McGill Genome Centre. I will be leading the project "From data to difference: objectivity and the construction of ancestry" funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council in Canada.
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Québec in Montreal (UQAM). I am leading the FRQSC-funded project "Rethinking our individual differences through genomics".
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and at the Department of Philosophy at Dalhousie University (Halifax).
I have a PhD in Philosophy (McGill University), a graduate teaching degree (University of Montréal), an MA (PUC-Rio - Brazil) and a BA (UFRJ - Brazil) in Philosophy.
Outside work, you can find me running, dancing Argentine tango, studying Art History, listening to my vinyl record collection or exploring natural landscapes.
