The Form I-178 is valid for 6 months and must be renewed with CBP at 6-month intervals. Renewal requires presenting proof of ongoing employment in the United States.

Smart Parking
BSU is happy to make available the Smart Parking App that can assist you with finding a parking spot when you arrive on campus. Your parking decal not only identifies you as a BSU bear but it will also help us count how many cars are entering and exiting both the Spring Street Lot, Swenson Lot and the Parking Garage. The Smart Parking App will display a heat map identifying the percentage of available parking remaining. We have rolled out this program in three of the four commuter lots for now but the hope is to have all lots included in the very near future. The Smart Parking map is available via the "Commuter Resources" Tile on the BSU Mobile App.

Vanpooling is a popular and economical option for commuters traveling within the Washington Metropolitan region, particularly for long-distance commuting. Pool Rewards is a special program available through Commuter Connections designed to encourage current drive alone commuters to start or join a vanpool. Pool Rewards offers up to a $200 monthly subsidy to newly formed van or car pools.
