Yarn Den is designed as a local-first crochet and yarn project companion. This Privacy Policy explains how Yarn Den handles information when you use the app.
Yarn Den lets you create and manage crochet, knitting, and yarn-related project information, including:
Project names, folders, counters, notes, and progress details
Imported PDF or image patterns
Yarn, hook, needle, accessory, and shopping list information
Photos or images you choose to attach to projects or toolbox items
App preferences such as theme, display settings, and maker name
This information is stored locally on your device.
Yarn Den does not sell your data.
Yarn Den does not require an account to use the app. Project data, notes, images, patterns, toolbox items, shopping list items, and app settings are stored on your device unless you choose to export them.
If you use the import/export feature, Yarn Den creates or reads a backup file only when you choose to do so. You are responsible for where you save or share exported backup files.
Yarn Den offers an optional one-time purchase called Yarn Den Pro through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Yarn Den does not receive or store your full payment card details.
Google Play may share purchase status information with the app so Yarn Den can unlock or restore Pro features.
Yarn Den may request access to files, images, or the camera when you choose to import a pattern or add an image to a project or toolbox item. These permissions are used only to support the action you requested.
Yarn Den uses Google Play services for app distribution and Google Play Billing for purchases. Google may process information according to its own privacy policy.

Yarn Den is not directed toward children under 13. Yarn Den does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because Yarn Den stores app data locally on your device, you can delete your data by deleting items inside the app, clearing app data from Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
Exported backup files are controlled by you and must be deleted from wherever you saved or shared them.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Yarn Den changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
