I want to play empire earth on my netbook, with win7 pro 32bit, but it crashes. When I start Empire Earth, the videos are played as usual and when the game starts, it crashes. I've tried different compatibility modes and Admin permissions, but nothing worked. Also I installed the latest patches and the Add On (Age of Konquest), but it didn't work. Any Ideas what I could do?

We installed a new bay window by replacing an old bow window for this home in Jenkintown. Pa. When installing a bay or bow window it is important to have a cable support system installed to prevent the window from sagging. As seen in these pictures there are cables running through the window frames, and then anchored into the brick. Once anchored the turn buckle pulls the window to level. This process assures the window will stay level, and the windows will open and close with no chance of air infiltration. Once completed a new roof pent is installed to protect the top of the window from the elements.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and the game works flawlessly, I just had to make the Options.ini file (you can use notepad to make it) inside "C:\Users(your computer username here)\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files

Google earth will start scanning all "com" ports and look for the GPS receiver. When it detects NMEA data from the "com" port which the GPS receiver is occupied with, it will read the data from it & show the current location in Google Earth.

"Earthwise is a reputable, local company that manufactures its own windows on site. Because of this ability, they are able to get products for your project out faster than larger commercial companies that manufacture off site. And because the employees are building the windows, you know they will stand behind their work and not take shortcuts just to make a buck!"

"We live in a historic house built in 1910. Owning a 110 year old home is a labor of love! The wonderful team of people at Earthwise exceeded our expectations and we tend to be picky when it comes to our home. We do not miss the old, drafty, and sweaty windows or outrageous utility bills we used to have. If only we could give you more stars!"

Deep-ocean mineral deposits could make a significant contribution to future raw material supply. Growing metal demand and geopolitics are focussing increasing attention on their resource potential and economic importance. However, accurate assessment of the total amounts of metal and its recoverability are very difficult. Deep-ocean mineral deposits also provide valuable windows through which to study the Earth, including the evolution of seawater and insights into the exchange of heat and chemicals between the crust and the oceans. Exploration for, and potential extraction of, deep-ocean mineral deposits poses many geological, technical, environmental and economic challenges, as well as regulatory and philosophical questions. Great uncertainty exists, and the development and stewardship of these deposits requires an incremental approach, encouraging transparency and scientific and civil societal input to balance the interests of all.

Google Earth is a computer program, formerly known as Keyhole Earth Viewer, that renders a 3D representation of Earth-based primarily on satellite imagery. The program maps the Earth by superimposing satellite images, aerial photography, and GIS data onto a 3D globe, allowing users to see cities and landscapes from various angles. Users can explore the globe by entering addresses and coordinates, or by using a keyboard or mouse. The program can also be downloaded on a smartphone or tablet, using a touch screen or stylus to navigate. Users may use the program to add their own data using Keyhole Markup Language and upload them through various sources, such as forums or blogs. Google Earth is able to show various kinds of images overlaid on the surface of the earth and is also a Web Map Service client. In 2019, Google has revealed that Google Earth now covers more than 98 percent of the world, and has captured 10 million miles of Street View imagery.

I still remember running home with the first part disk in my hand ( -lord-of-the-rings-the-battle-for-middle-earth) after school and playing it all weekend. And when the second one came out I was blown away by the awesomeness of it. Thanks for the memories, maybe I will try to get my disk from the old house.

Calculating orbit trajectories and launch windows is a complex task involving a variety of parameters that may or may not be constantly changing. In order to make this task accessible to high-school students, some variable parameters have been stabilized and some assumptions have been made. This problem, with these simplifications, allows students to generate an approximation of the launch window to Mars.

I am trying to play BFME1 on my laptop, with windows 10. I am able to run the game, that's not the problem. The problem is the graphics. Water and trees are not rendered correctly; they have low detail and are not correctly animated, even on UltraHigh settings. I've been tackling this problem for a month now and I'm 99% sure this is an intel integrated graphics card issue. The reason I'm so sure about this is that I tested the game on 3 different laptops with (different) intel integrated cards and the problem persisted. As soon as I installed the game on a friend's desktop (same installer) the issue is gone. Here's the comparison:

Compatibility

If you have mods that install into the game's installation folder please uninstall them and remove leftover files before reinstalling the game.

Not applicable to new installations: the Maps folder in My Battle for Middle-earth Files can become crowded if you've downloaded a lot of maps. This might cause a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error.

bsod is very unlikely to be caused by the game. bsod is more often than not caused by defective hardware or driver bugs. Never applications. Come to think of it, an application can only cause bsod, if it hits a bug in the windows kernel.

Can someone please help,I've recently just started playing second earth and logged back into my game today but noticed it didn't save my progress,it's not giving me the option to save it either anyone having this problem and if so how do I save my progress as don't want to be having to start from the beginning every time I start playing the game thanks

Absorption Bands and Atmospheric Windows Some types of electromagnetic radiation easily pass through theatmosphere, while other types do not. The ability of the atmosphere toallow radiation to pass through it is referred to as its transmissivity, and varies with the wavelength/type of the radiation. The gases thatcomprise our atmosphere absorb radiation in certain wavelengths whileallowing radiation with differing wavelengths to pass through. The areas of the EM spectrum that are absorbed by atmospheric gases suchas water vapor, carbon dioxide, and ozone are known as absorption bands. In the figure, absorption bands are represented by a lowtransmission value that is associated with a specific range ofwavelengths. In contrast to the absorption bands, there are areas of theelectromagnetic spectrum where the atmosphere is transparent (little orno absorption of radiation) to specific wavelengths. These wavelengthbands are known as atmospheric "windows" since they allow the radiationto easily pass through the atmosphere to Earth's surface. Most remote sensing instruments on aircraft or space-based platformsoperate in one or more of these windows by making their measurementswith detectors tuned to specific frequencies (wavelengths) that passthrough the atmosphere. When a remote sensing instrument has aline-of-sight with an object that is reflecting sunlight or emittingheat, the instrument collects and records the radiant energy. While mostremote sensing systems are designed to collect reflected radiation, somesensors, especially those on meteorological satellites, directly measureabsorption phenomena, such as those associated with carbon dioxide (CO2)and other gases. The atmosphere is nearly opaque to EM radiation in partof the mid-IR and all of the far-IR regions. In the microwave region, bycontrast, most of this radiation moves through unimpeded, so radar wavesreach the surface (although weather radars are able to detect clouds andprecipitation because they are tuned to observe backscattered radiationfrom liquid and ice particles).
