My name is Yao Yang, and I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas. I hold a master’s degree in Economics from North Carolina State University and a doctorate degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia. My fields of interest are price and demand analysis, applied econometrics, agricultural marketing and policy, and derivative markets. My research aims to provide a better understanding of the role of prices at different levels of the food supply chain and help producers reduce their exposure to price risks in commodity markets.
