Hi, welcome to my website!
I am a PhD fellow at the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT) and a team member at the Living Standards Measurement unit (LSMS) of the World Bank.
My research investigates how data quality and availability affect our understanding of key issues in economic development. I collect and use survey microdata - often linked with large administrative datasets - to study (i) how emerging economies can sustainably raise tax revenue, (ii) the impact of economic shocks on the living standards of vulnerable populations, (iii) how we can get higher quality data on these and other policy-relevant issues in international development. Much of my research uses large-scale field- or methodological experiments.
You can find my CV here and a list of my research projects here.
