Yang Zhou

Ph.D. in Economics

I will be joining the Department of Economics at the University of North Texas as an Assistant Professor of Economics and the Assistant Director of Economics Research Group in Fall 2020.

I received the Ph.D. in Economics from West Virginia University in May 2020. I also received the Master's degree in Economics from West Virginia University in May 2019, the Master's degree in Economics from King Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain) in 2014, and the Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei, China) in 2013.

My main research interest is applied microeconomics, with a focus on public economics, urban and regional economics, and applied machine learning. Here you will find my most recent CV, recent publications, contact information, etc.
