I am an L.E. Dickson Instructor at University of Chicago working with Lek-Heng Lim. Before joining Department of Mathematics, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Computational and Applied Mathematics Initiative, Department of Statistics, University of Chicago. My previous postdoc was at GIPSA-Lab with Pierre Comon and Lek-Heng Lim. I got my Ph.D. from Department of Mathematics, Texas A&M University, under the guidance of J.M. Landsberg. My thesis is titled Geometry of feasible spaces of tensors.
My research interests are applied algebraic geometry and mathematical signal processing. In particular, I use algebraic geometry, differential geometry, and topology to study and design algorithms for linear and multi-linear algebra problems arising from signal processing, computer science, and statistics.
