I have a bug on Samsung Galaxy S3 but it works on my Huawei and I have problems with lblresult translation, because the translation does not change my lblresult result only change my translate button

Thanks! About the screenshot below, would I be able to do something like that or put the join button there so I can translate multiple texts with one block? Or would I have to create the call Translator1 for each individual text? Thanks!

It doesn't seem to be working, and I probably did it wrong, but It shows the translated text with some added symbols and just combined the translations. When you have the time, if you could show an example that would be great. Thanks

Hi! Im trying to put a google or yandex translator widget on my page. I dont want to translate the full page, but i need to put the translating box under a text, so the students can type there any word they dont understand (is for a language learning page) Is there any way to do that? i tried to iframe the full yandex translator page but it doesnt work.

Google Translate offers an impressive range of over 130 languages, including a variety of European, African, Asian, and Indian languages. In other words, the language you want to translate content into is probably supported by Google. To be sure, you can check out the full list of languages supported by Google Translate.

In the case of Google Translate, there are also studies and surveys we can turn to. A 2019 study found that 82.5% of phrases were translated accurately. That number varies dramatically from one language to the next, though: 94% of Spanish translations were accurate, while only 55% of Armenian translations were accurate. This study focused on ER discharge phrases, so the accuracy might increase if your content uses simple language and phrases, but it clearly illustrates a discrepancy between various languages.

Yandex Translate also offers easy-to-use apps for iOS and Android. The Android app takes only a minute or two to install and lets you type or speak your text directly into the app for translation. You can also type in the URL of a website and Yandex will translate it for you.

The service uses a self-learning statistical machine translation,[3] developed by Yandex.[4] The system constructs the dictionary of single-word translations based on the analysis of millions of translated texts. In order to translate the text, the computer first compares it to a database of words. The computer then compares the text to the base language models, trying to determine the meaning of an expression in the context of the text.

The translation direction is determined automatically. It is possible to translate words, sentences, or web pages if needed. There is also the option to view both the translation and the original at the same time in a two-window view. In addition to machine translation, there is also an accessible and complete English-Russian and Russian-English dictionary.[6] There is an app for devices based on the iOS software,[7] Windows Phone and Android. You can listen to the pronunciation of the translation and the original text using a text to speech converter built in.

This method is used to set options for the translated text language response (string). The only option currently supported is 1 (to also return the automatically detected language of the text to be translated).

This method is used to get the translated text. If "set_options" has been previously called, it returns an array of two elements, with the first element containing the detected language of the original text (string) and the second element containing the translated text (string); otherwise, only the translated text is returned.

This method is used to get the HTML element that the Yandex Terms of Use of API Yandex.Translate Service requires to be displayed either directly above or directly below the translated text. An optional hash reference of attributes and values for the returned element can be passed in.

Dynamic Properties allow the user to specify both the name and value of a property.NameValueDescriptionThe name of an attribute to set that will contain the translated text of the valueThe value to translateUser-defined properties are used to translate arbitrary text based on attributes.

Supports Expression Language: true (will be evaluated using flow file attributes and Environment variables)

i installed third party add-on to get Yandex translate again since it the only free API for translate easy and fast.. sadly i got an extra plugin running on my WP until people like you stopping their drama. wish you can continue developing the plugin without politician moves or at least make it paid plugin without drama.

Fedilab uses yandex API for translations because it allows for free a daily request limit of 1,000,000 characters and a monthly limit of 10,000,000 characters. While, it seems to be enough, Mastalab shares the API key with all users, that means one day or another, the shared key might reach one of these limits.

To translate text you can use TranslateClient.TranslateAsync(text, sourceLang, targetLang, format = text) methodwhich returns Translation object that contains possible translations and some additional metadatalike source string, source and target language codes and format.

This blog is not intended to advertise Google API neither is its purpose to downplay the great features and capabilities of Yandex. It is only the authors desire to share with the readers his experience that he thinks may serve a purpose as one may wish to know how to translate something in a language that may not be listed yet in the Yandex repertory or create an app with many different machine translator APIs for analysis and comparison. Our goal in this blog is to provide the user a better understanding about how to filter the result from the web using JSON parser block or the Text features of App Inventor. Of course, when using Yandex, App Inventor has already taken care of those issues so users dont have to worry about them. But with APIs other than Yandex, you must know how to manipulate the strings to get the desired result; this is what we are about to show you.

For this purpose, we create an app with the following components for the GUI:A spinner button that will be used to select the desired language from a drop-down list. But the list only includes 4 languages for the purpose of this blog (French, Spanish, English and Haitian Creole)A textbox used to receive user input for translation. The hint for this text box is set with steps to get the user started. Two labels are used to show the output of the translated text from each server (Google and Yandex).

Where the parameters are:API key: Use the key parameter to identify your application.Target language: Use the target parameter to specify the language you want to translate into.Source text string: Use the q parameter to specify the text to translate. Here comes when we need to look back to where we left off when we were talking about creating a browser API Key and get credential for that key.

The API provides access to the Yandex online machine translation service. It supports more than 70 languages and can translate separate words or complete texts. The API makes it possible to embed Yandex.Translate in a mobile app or web service for end users. Or translate large quantities of text, such as technical documentation.
