I was born and raised in Qingdao, China. I am currently working at University of Wisconsin-Platteville as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.

I finished my education in both China and the United States. I have a B.E. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.

I love traveling, music, movies and novels.
