In this artwork, I construct a visa application form referencing some utopian precepts of neo-classical migration theory (which envisioned free mobility without borders and laws).
By manipulating the standard questions, I create others of a subjective nature, thus mocking the official modules themselves. I draw on the features of Web 2.0 and invite Cuban users to complete the form online; then the results are printed, and a temporary display of various modules can be seen within the exhibition framework. Due to its procedural nature, this work updates with each virtual interaction.
