Washington State Patrol and 911 Dispatch Field Trip

WHAT: Washington State Patrol and 911 Dispatch

WHO: CAPE Members - Please no strollers. This field trip is open to students of all ages but it will be most appropriate for kids 3rd grade and up.

WHEN: Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 @ 2:00pm

WHERE: 2715 Rudkin Road, Union Gap, WA 98903

Per the request of WSP, this field trip is recommended for students 8 and up. Younger siblings are welcome but this is a "working office environment" so moms and dads, please bring activities for younger children to keep them busy, if needed. We also need to be very quiet when visiting the 911 dispatch area of our tour because of the nature of their work.

This field trip will give students an opportunity to tour the offices at the Washington State Patrol building. Troopers, Detectives and 911 operations staff will be on site to answer questions about what being a Washington State Trooper and 911 Dispatcher are like. Students will also get to see the inside of a patrol vehicle. Bundle up for the outside portion of our tour.

There is a maximum of 30 participants for this field trip and if we are at 20 or more people we will need to split into two groups. Please get registered on the CAPE website ASAP if you plan to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Molly Johnston at heyitsmrsj@gmail.com or 509-594-4808.

Registration Deadline is December 4th, 2018
