Cost(s): Museum - FREE for students, $6.50 for adults
Fair - $10 ages 13 and up, $5 ages 6-12, $20 per family (2 adults/2 children)
Maximum Attendance: No limit, but you must register before August 20th, 2018
Description: Join us for a guided tour of Fort Walla Walla Museum. Fort Walla Walla was established in 1858 to serve as a calvary outpost and to protect travelers on the Oregon Trail. Come see pioneer artifacts, hands-on exhibits and tour a pioneer village with 17 buildings. If you would like, you can go to www.fwwm.org/school-tours/ to download a teacher’s guide or activities to print before the trip.
Following our tour of the museum all are invited to attend the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days at the fairgrounds.
Families can pack a sack lunch and eat together after the museum or they can plan to eat at the fairgrounds.
College Campus Opportunity: Whitman College is offering a 1:30 information session and a 2:30 tour. All are invited to attend these sessions.
Travel time: Please allow 2 ½ hours from Yakima
