I am seeking one Ph.D. or M.S. student to join my research group in January 2027 or Fall 2027. The student will be enrolled in the Biosystems Engineering graduate program and will receive a 50% Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA), plus paid health insurance and a tuition waiver. Prior engineering degrees are required.
Position 1 — Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Agriculture. This student will work on monitoring and process-based modeling of greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural sources. Prior experience in air quality, environmental monitoring, or instrumentation is highly desirable.
Undergraduate students at MSU are encouraged to contact me for hourly-paid undergraduate research assistantship opportunties. A couple of grants are available in my group to support undergraduate students.
