Dr. Xin Wang is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, College of Integrated Health Sciences, and AI Plus Institute, University at Albany, SUNY.
Dr. Xin Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY) in 2015. He was a research intern at Microsoft Research Asia (2011) and GE Global Research Center (2014, 2015). He worked at a startup AI Medical Device Company in Seattle (2016-2023). His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, AI in Health and Medical Innovation, Medical Image Analysis, Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models, Multimedia, and Human-Centered AI. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (Since 2020) and the Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia.
