I am Associate Professor of Economics at John Jay College and Graduate Center, CUNY. Previously I have taught at Howard University and 中国人民大学 (People’s University). My main research interests include Political Economy of Development, Chinese Economy, Economic History. I am also on the editorial boards of Science & Society and the Journal of Labor and Society.
