Xueying Guo(郭雪莹), Ph.D.
Xueying Guo is current a software engineer (machine learning) at Google.
Xueying Guo received her B.E. degree in the department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2011. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Information and Communication Engineering in the same department of Tsinghua University in 2017. Her Ph.D. advisor is Prof. Zhisheng Niu. From Oct. 2013 to Oct. 2014, she visited the Computer Engineering and System Group of ECE Department in Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA. She worked with her co-advisor Prof. P. R. Kumar during the visit. She was a postdoc researcher in the Department of Computer Science at University of California, Davis, from Feb. 2017 to Feb. 2019. Her postdoc advisor is Prof. Xin Liu. From June 2016 to Sep. 2016, she worked as a research intern at Microsoft Research Asia (Recipient of the reward of excellent in Microsoft Research Asia internship program) . She was the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award in the 25th International Tele-traffic Congress (ITC) in 2013.
Her research interests include machine learning, reinforcement learning, data-driven approach in networking, and wireless networking.
