I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Biostatistics, Department of Population Health Sciences, University of Utah.
My research focuses on developing rigorous statistical methods for clinical trials and real-world evidence to improve treatment evaluation and biomedical decision-making. My methodological interests include surrogate endpoint evaluation, survival analysis, causal inference, missing data, electronic health record (EHR) data analysis, and modern machine learning methods—including transfer learning, federated learning, and semi-supervised learning.
