How to Add Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to MetaMask Wallet
MetaMask is one of the most popular crypto wallets in the world, with more than 11 million user installations to date. A detailed review of the wallet with step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring can be found here. In this article, I will tell you how to add Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to the MetaMask in order to be able to use tokens working in the BEP-20 standard, including the native token of the binance exchange - BNB coins.
Today, many applications are built on BSC: the PancakeSwap decentralized exchange, the NFT exchange and platform, the market, decentralized finance, and many others. MetaMask with added BSC is great for working with these platforms.
1. To add the BSC network, you need to unlock the MetaMask wallet and click on the account logo in the upper right corner.
2. Then select "Settings" from the menu.
3. Scroll down to the "Networks" section and click on it.
4. After that, we will see a list of all added networks, click on the "Add network" button.
5. Before us is a form for adding a network with empty fields, fill in according to the model.
Network Name: Binance Smart Chain BEP-20
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Currency symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
You can set any network name.
After filling in all the fields, click "Save".
6. Congratulations, you have added Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask and it can now store BEP-20 standard tokens.
