**Data Collection**
Xremover does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All operations are performed entirely within your browser.
**What the Extension Accesses**
- twitter.com / x.com — The extension injects a content script to perform delete, unfollow, unlike, and unretweet actions that you explicitly initiate.
- Active Tab — Used to interact with the currently open Twitter/X page.
**Local Storage**
The extension uses Chrome's storage.local API to save your preferences:
- Your Twitter/X username (for navigation only)
- Delay setting
- Task progress (count and status)
This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
**Third-Party Services**
Xremover does not use any analytics, tracking, or third-party services. No data is shared with anyone.
**Remote Code**
The extension does not load or execute any remote code. All functionality is bundled within the extension package.
**Permissions Justification**
- activeTab — Required to access the currently open Twitter/X tab and perform actions.
- storage — Required to save user preferences locally.
- Host permissions (twitter.com, x.com) — Required to inject the content script that performs bulk operations.
**Changes to This Policy**
If we update this policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
