1. **User Location Data from X.com**
- We collect publicly available location information ("Account Based In") displayed on X.com user profiles
- This data is only collected when you browse X.com with the extension active
2. **Your Filter Preferences**
- Countries/regions you choose to blur or block
- These preferences are stored locally in your browser
3. **Usage Statistics**
- Count of blurred/blocked tweets (stored locally)
- No personal browsing history is collected
### Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your X.com login credentials
- Your personal tweets or direct messages
- Your browsing history outside of X.com
- Any personally identifiable information (PII)
## Data Storage
### Local Storage
- Your filter preferences and statistics are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
- This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync it
### Backend Database
- Publicly available user location data may be cached on our servers to improve performance
- This data is already publicly visible on X.com profiles
- No association is made between this data and your identity
## Data Sharing
We do **NOT**:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your data with advertisers
- Use your data for profiling or tracking
## Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Clear all locally stored data by removing the extension
- View what data is stored via browser developer tools
- Contact us to request deletion of any cached data
## Third-Party Services
The Extension interacts with:
- **X.com (Twitter)**: To read publicly available profile information
- **Our Backend API**: To cache and retrieve location data for performance
## Security
- All communication with our backend uses HTTPS encryption
- No sensitive personal data is transmitted or stored
- The extension only requests minimum necessary permissions

This Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
