Disable Extensions

SETTING IT UP

1. Double-click your Bookmark Manager and click "Add Page..." and paste 

        chrome-extension://extension_id_here/manifest.json into the URL bar.

2. To Get Extensions ID go to "chrome://extensions/" then click "Details" on any extension you don't want or like, then copy text where "EXTENSIONID" (chrome://extensions/?id=EXTENSIONID) paste it into the highlighted yellow area in the link then name the bookmark "A"

3. Once you have made the bookmark, Now double-click your Bookmarks manager and click "Add Page...", Once Done, Name it B and put the URL as "chrome://kill", and click save

4. Repeat step 3 and this time, label it "C" and put the URL as "chrome://hang", and press "Save"

HOW TO RUN THE EXPLOIT

For this to work, you need to still be on A. Now, Click B and reload in 3 seconds, and then press C five times, If the A bookmark doesn't load, then it means that it worked!  

You've now temporarily disabled an Extension.

if you sign-out or shutdown your Chromebook you'll have to run this exploit again
