If you want a unique smart case with a built-in display for quick battery checks and alarms, choose Xmenha TWS; if you need active noise cancellation to block out gym noise and longer total playtime from the case, choose RadioShack TWS Earbuds. Both options deliver Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and are designed for active lifestyles, but they solve different problems for your ears. One prioritizes visual feedback and a lightweight fit for small canals, while the other focuses on acoustic isolation and raw battery capacity in the charging brick. This isn't about which one is universally superior, but rather which feature set aligns with how you actually move through your day.
• Xmenha TWS: Features a rare LCD screen on the charging case to show time and battery levels without opening your phone; trade-off is the lack of active noise cancellation technology. Best for tech-savvy users who love visual data and have smaller ear canals.
• RadioShack TWS Earbuds: Offers Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a larger 460mAh case battery for extended sessions; trade-off is a standard design without a display or touch controls on the case itself. Best for commuters and runners needing to isolate sound in loud environments.
• The Verdict: If you are looking for crystal clear calls sleep headphones for exercise that also let you track time on the go, Xmenha wins. If you prioritize best voice assistant gaming headphones for exercise where silence is golden, RadioShack takes the lead.
The standout feature of the Xmenha TWS is undeniably the Smart Touch Screen Case. In a market flooded with identical black plastic boxes, having an actual LCD display on the charging unit changes how you interact with your audio gear. You don't just see a percentage; you can inspect the battery levels for both the buds and the case simultaneously. Even more useful is the ability to check the time and set alarms directly from the case screen. This is a genuine utility feature that removes the need to unlock your smartphone every time you want to know if you have enough power left for your next workout or commute.

For those with smaller ear canals, the physical design here offers a distinct advantage. The product description highlights a "streamlined sinking design" made from premium soft silicone. This isn't just marketing fluff; it suggests a form factor engineered to sit comfortably in tighter spaces without causing the fatigue common with bulkier in-ear monitors. The weight is listed at a modest 3.2 ounces for the entire package, implying the individual buds are featherlight. Combined with the ergonomic surround, this makes them a strong candidate for long-duration wear, whether you are listening to podcasts during a slow jog or music while lifting weights.
However, you must accept a specific trade-off regarding sound isolation. The Xmenha relies on passive sound isolation via its fit and the patented speaker technology mentioned in the specs. While it claims to reduce sound leakage effectively to protect privacy, it does not include Active Noise Cancellation. If your primary use case involves running on a busy street or working out in a chaotic gym, you will still hear the world around you. This isn't a flaw in engineering, but a design choice that favors comfort and transparency over total immersion. If you need to hear traffic for safety or prefer to stay connected to your surroundings, this fits perfectly. If you crave total silence, look elsewhere.
RadioShack has taken a different approach, focusing heavily on the acoustic experience and battery endurance. The most significant addition here is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Unlike the passive isolation of the Xmenha, these buds actively analyze and cancel out background frequencies. This is a game-changer for anyone who needs to focus. Whether you are trying to get into a flow state before a run or blocking out the chatter of a crowded train, the ANC capability provides a level of immersion that the competition simply cannot match. It transforms the listening environment from noisy to controlled.
The battery architecture tells another story of intent. While the earbuds themselves hold a 35mAh charge, the charging case boasts a substantial 460mAh capacity. This is a significant jump compared to the 400mAh found in the Xmenha case. For the user who travels frequently or goes on ultra-long outdoor excursions, this extra capacity in the case means fewer trips to the wall outlet. You can pull the buds out multiple times throughout the week without worrying about the case dying first. The inclusion of the Bluetrum AB5636F chipset also promises instant pairing, reducing the friction of getting your audio started the moment you step out the door.
The design philosophy here leans towards the classic, sleek in-ear bud shape. They utilize a Balanced Armature Driver, which often delivers crisp highs and detailed vocals, paired with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz. This suggests a tuning that might appeal to audiophiles who care about clarity over bass thump. However, the IPX5 rating confirms their durability against sweat and rain, making them safe for intense cardio. The trade-off is the absence of any visual interface on the case. You won't see the time or a digital battery percentage without digging into your phone settings. You get pure audio performance and battery life, but you lose the gadget-like convenience of the screen.

After weighing the specifications and real-world applications, I would personally buy the Xmenha TWS if my priority was versatility and a unique user interface. The ability to glance at the charging case to see the time and battery status is a feature I find incredibly practical for daily life, especially when I am already out and about without my phone. However, if I were strictly focused on best fast charging open ear earbuds for exercise where I needed to shut out the world completely, the RadioShack option would be my pick due to the ANC. Ultimately, for someone who wants a companion that offers more than just music—something that helps manage their schedule and battery anxiety—the Xmenha stands out as the more innovative choice for modern living.
Both models support wireless use, but the Xmenha TWS might be slightly more comfortable for side sleepers due to its lighter, streamlined design for small ears, whereas the RadioShack buds prioritize deep isolation which some find too heavy for lying down.
No, the Xmenha TWS allows you to control volume and view settings directly via the touch screen on the charging case, while the RadioShack model relies on standard touch controls on the buds themselves and your device.
The RadioShack case holds more power (460mAh vs 400mAh), offering potentially longer total usage between charges, though both provide sufficient juice for multiple workout sessions per week.
Yes, both feature built-in microphones, but the RadioShack ANC can help block background noise during calls, while the Xmenha uses sound isolation and microphone technology to maintain clarity without active cancellation.
