If you want deep bass wireless headphones for audiophiles with an open-ear design that lets you sleep on your side without pain, choose Xmenha Mini; if you need a discreet, peanut-sized in-ear bud with a smart tumbler case and voice assistant integration for the office, choose Yihou Ear Buds Invisible.
• Xmenha Mini: Its biggest strength is the ultra-lightweight, open-ear design engineered specifically for side sleepers who refuse to feel pressure or foreign objects in their ear canals. The trade-off is a shorter single-charge battery life of 5 hours compared to the charging case's total capacity. This pick is for the audiophile who prioritizes comfort during sleep and privacy from sound leakage over all-day wear.
• Yihou Ear Buds Invisible: Its standout feature is the incredibly compact, invisible form factor that weighs just 0.08 oz, making it nearly undetectable in small ear canals, paired with a unique standing charging case that displays battery levels. The trade-off is that it uses an in-ear design which may not be ideal for those who find any object inside the canal uncomfortable, and it lacks the specific acoustic tuning for side-sleeping mentioned in its competitor. This pick is for the professional who needs a completely hidden earpiece for work calls and wants a longer total battery life via the case.
The Xmenha Mini is built around a singular philosophy: comfort that disappears. If you are an audiophile looking for deep bass wireless headphones for audiophiles but also have the specific habit of sleeping on your side, this device addresses a problem most earbuds ignore entirely. Because it utilizes an open-ear placement rather than plugging directly into the canal, it avoids the "foreign body sensation" that often wakes people up when they roll over onto a standard earbud.
For the person with high requirements for ear comfort, the Xmenha Mini offers a solution where the silicone material feels light enough to forget you are wearing it. The design explicitly targets those who do not like stimulation in the ear canal after long periods of wear. It is not just about fitting; it is about the acoustic isolation that protects your privacy by reducing sound leakage, ensuring that your music or podcast doesn't disturb a partner or roommate. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures a stable link up to 10 meters away, which is sufficient for moving around a bedroom or living space without dropouts.

However, this product is not for everyone. If you require an all-day battery life on a single charge without returning to the case, the 5-hour playtime might feel restrictive. Furthermore, if you prefer the secure, noise-blocking fit of an in-ear plug, the open-ear design of the Xmenha Mini will feel too exposed for noisy environments outside the home. It is a specialized tool for sleep and quiet listening, not a general-purpose workhorse for loud gyms or commutes. You should skip this if you need maximum active noise cancellation or if your primary use case involves long-duration travel without access to a charger.
In contrast, the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible is engineered for invisibility and professional utility. It is the smallest option on the market, weighing only 0.08 oz, and is described as being 1:1 the size of a peanut. This makes it the ideal choice for anyone who needs to remain completely unnoticeable in an office setting or social environment. Unlike the open-ear approach of the Xmenha, the Yihou uses an in-ear shape that fits snugly into small ear canals, providing a level of discretion that is unmatched. It is particularly suited for those who want to stay connected without drawing attention to themselves.
The Yihou distinguishes itself with features that cater to the modern workflow. It includes a microphone that supports Siri voice assistant, allowing users to control their devices hands-free. The touch controls are separate and allow for easy management of calls, volume, and playback, which is crucial for someone juggling multiple tasks. A unique selling point found in the specifications is the "tumbler design" of the charging case. This case can stand upright like a toy and features an LED power display, giving you instant visual feedback on your remaining battery so you never face "battery anxiety." With a total usage time of 20 hours provided by the case, it supports a full workday and then some.
This product is best for those who value connectivity and convenience over the specific sleeping comfort of an open ear. While it offers a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, indicating a broad audio spectrum, its primary strength lies in its stability and low latency connection thanks to the Bluetooth 5.3 chip. It extends the signal transmission range to 30 feet, offering more freedom of movement than the Xmenha. However, if you are a side sleeper who cannot tolerate any object inside the ear canal, the in-ear design of the Yihou might cause discomfort after a few hours of wear. It is a powerhouse for the active worker, not a pillow for the night.
• Best for Side Sleepers: Choose the Xmenha Mini. Its open-ear design prevents the painful pressure of sleeping on top of an earbud, whereas the Yihou's in-ear profile is not optimized for this specific activity.
• Best for Total Battery Life: Choose the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible. While the buds themselves last 4 hours, the charging case extends the total usage to 20 hours, significantly outperforming the Xmenha's 30-hour total claim which relies on a different calculation method, but the Yihou's 20-hour continuous potential is robust for daily use.
• Best for Discretion and Office Use: Choose the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible. Its peanut-sized, in-ear form factor is virtually invisible from the front, making it perfect for meetings and professional settings where appearance matters.
• Best for Voice Assistant Integration: Choose the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible. It explicitly supports Siri voice assistant commands, offering seamless interaction for audiophiles who want hands-free control.
• Best for Privacy (Sound Leakage): Choose the Xmenha Mini. The patented acoustic cavity technology is specifically noted for effectively reducing sound leakage, protecting your privacy better than standard in-ear buds.
• Best for Charging Case Utility: Choose the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible. The standing tumbler design with an LED display adds a layer of practicality and visual battery monitoring that the Xmenha lacks.
• Best for Long-Term Comfort Without Canal Pressure: Choose the Xmenha Mini. The lack of insertion into the ear canal means no stimulation or blockage, ideal for those with sensitive ears.
• Best for Signal Range: Choose the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible. With a stated range of 30 feet compared to the Xmenha's 10 meters (approx. 33 feet), both are comparable, but the Yihou emphasizes stability in its description.
After weighing the technical specifications and real-world use cases, I would personally buy the Xmenha Mini if my primary goal was finding the best waterproof headset for audiophiles who also happen to be side sleepers. The ability to enjoy stereo HIFI sound without the physical intrusion of an in-ear bud is a game-changer for restful sleep. However, if I were strictly focused on a device for the office that needed to disappear completely while offering a robust battery backup and voice assistant support, the Yihou Ear Buds Invisible would be my choice. For the audiophile seeking a balance of high-fidelity sound and the absolute necessity of sleeping comfortably on their side, the Xmenha Mini remains the superior, more specialized option.
They are designed for sound quality and comfort, but neither is marketed as a dedicated "waterproof" sports headset for swimming or extreme conditions.
The Yihou Ear Buds Invisible explicitly lists support for Siri voice assistant, allowing for hands-free calling and control. The Xmenha Mini mentions voice control methods but does not specify a direct integration with a major voice assistant platform in its data sheet.
The Yihou Ear Buds Invisible offers a total of 20 hours of usage with its charging case, extending the 4-hour single-bud life. The Xmenha Mini boasts a 30-hour total battery life figure, but the single-bud playtime is listed as 5 hours. Both provide sufficient power for a day, but the Yihou's case provides a clearer visual indicator of remaining charge.
Both products feature built-in microphones and sound isolation controls. The Xmenha Mini notes it can accurately identify and suppress external noise during calls, while the Yihou also employs sound isolation. For clear voice transmission in noisy settings, both are viable, but the Xmenha highlights its noise suppression capabilities more prominently in its bullet points.
