If you want discreet, invisible earbuds that vanish into your ear canal for sleep or office work, choose Xmenha Low Profile Mini; if you need stylish, open-ear headphones with detachable accessories for glasses wearers and active lifestyles, choose Domary Earbuds Headphones Open.
• Xmenha Low Profile Mini: Its biggest strength is its ultra-compact, peanut-sized design that offers true invisibility and deep in-ear comfort for long sessions; the trade-off is a standard in-ear fit that blocks some external noise but may not suit those who prefer to hear their surroundings. This pick is for users seeking the smallest possible device for sleeping or working unnoticed.
• Domary Earbuds Headphones Open: Its biggest strength is the unique combination of an open-ear design and detachable earrings that turn functional audio gear into fashion accessories; the trade-off is the lack of noise isolation and a slightly bulkier profile due to the hardware and jewelry components. This pick is for women with small ears or glasses who want style without the pressure of traditional buds.
The Xmenha Low Profile Mini is engineered for one specific goal: to be completely unnoticeable while delivering audio. At just 0.08 ounces per earbud, it is so light that you barely feel it sitting in your ear. The design mimics the size of a peanut, making it the smallest micro-discreet option on the market. If your priority is wearing headphones while sleeping, working in a quiet office, or simply forgetting they are there, this is the only logical choice. The flat, tiny shape ensures they remain hidden from the front, which is crucial for professionals who don't want their audio gear visible during meetings or casual interactions.
These earbuds are built around stability and longevity rather than flashiness. They utilize Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which provides a reliable connection and low latency even with such a small form factor. The battery life is practical for daily commutes and workdays, offering four hours of continuous listening on a single charge. While that might seem modest compared to some larger over-ear options, the charging case extends the total usage time to 20 hours, meaning you can go several days between top-ups. The case itself is incredibly portable, fitting easily into a pocket alongside two quarters, and features an LED display so you always know exactly how much power remains.
However, this product is not for everyone. Because it is an in-ear design that uses sound isolation to function, it will block out ambient noise. If you are a nurse who needs to hear hospital alarms, or someone who runs outdoors and needs situational awareness, these buds might be too isolating. Additionally, the age range description suggests they are intended for users 15 and older, which implies the controls and size are optimized for adults or older teens rather than very young children. The touch controls allow for Siri integration and basic call management, but the experience is purely functional. You are buying a tool for privacy and focus, not a statement piece.

Domary Earbuds Headphones Open take a completely different approach by prioritizing style and situational awareness. These are not traditional earbuds that seal your ear canal; instead, they rest gently on the outer ear. Each bud weighs a mere 4.5 grams, making them exceptionally lightweight and secure. The standout feature here is the inclusion of detachable earrings. This transforms the headphones from simple tech gadgets into fashion accessories. If you value aesthetics as much as utility, the ability to swap out the look of your audio device makes it a delightful upgrade to your daily routine. It is a perfect blend of high-performance headphones and jewelry, designed specifically for those who want to look good while they listen.
The open-ear design is a game-changer for people with glasses or long hair. Traditional in-ear buds often cause pinching where the earcup meets the temple of your glasses, or they get tangled in long hair. Domary eliminates this friction entirely. The headphones sit securely without blocking the ear canal, allowing for an airy, natural sound experience. The specially tuned drivers prioritize clear vocals and a smooth balance, which is ideal for podcasts, phone calls, and music playlists where you want to enjoy the content without feeling isolated from the world. The build quality uses durable ABS silicone and flexible wires, ensuring they can withstand an active lifestyle, whether you are at the gym or commuting.
Battery performance is solid, offering between four to eight hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The 200mAh lithium-ion battery inside each bud supports a transmission range of up to 10 meters (33 feet), providing stable connectivity for movement. However, because the design is open, there is no noise isolation. If you are trying to listen to music in a loud environment like a busy subway or a noisy office, the audio will mix with the background noise. This makes them less suitable for focused work in distracting environments but excellent for awareness-focused activities. The package includes a manufacturer warranty for 90 days, adding a layer of confidence to the purchase.
• Best for maximum discretion → Xmenha Low Profile Mini. The peanut-sized, invisible design wins hands down for anyone who wants to hide their headphones completely.
• Best for glasses wearers → Domary Earbuds Headphones Open. The open-ear design prevents the painful pinching common with in-ear models when wearing frames.
• Best for sleep → Xmenha Low Profile Mini. The flat, low-profile shape is far more comfortable for side-sleeping than any bulky open-ear clip-on device.
• Best for fashion and style → Domary Earbuds Headphones Open. The detachable earrings allow you to match your headphones to your outfit, turning tech into jewelry.
• Best for battery anxiety → Xmenha Low Profile Mini. The case displays the exact power level, and the total 20-hour capacity is easy to monitor and manage.
• Best for situational awareness → Domary Earbuds Headphones Open. The open design lets you hear traffic, conversations, and alarms while listening to your audio.
• Best for small ear canals → Both are excellent, but Xmenha is smaller internally, while Domary avoids the canal entirely for a pressure-free fit.
• Best for active sports → Domary Earbuds Headphones Open. The secure fit and flexible materials are designed to stay put during movement without falling out.
I would buy the Xmenha Low Profile Mini if my primary goal was finding headband headphones for small ears that could actually disappear, or if I needed best sleep headphones for laptop use where silence and comfort were paramount. However, for the specific use case of for kids bluetooth (keeping in mind the 15+ age recommendation) or general adult use where style matters, I lean toward the Domary Earbuds Headphones Open. The ability to wear headphones with glasses without pain is a non-negotiable feature for many, and the detachable earrings add a level of personalization that the Xmenha simply cannot offer. If you need to hear the world around you while listening, Domary is the superior choice. But if you need to be invisible, Xmenha is the only option.
Only the Domary Earbuds Headphones Open are suitable for this role. Their open-ear design does not block the ear canal, allowing you to hear environmental sounds like alarms while still listening to music or taking calls. The Xmenha model uses sound isolation, which would block critical background noises.
The Xmenha Low Profile Mini offers 4 hours of playback per charge with a total of 20 hours including the case.
Yes, both are designed for this, but Domary is specifically engineered for it. The open-ear design eliminates slipping and pinching caused by glasses or long hair, whereas the Xmenha is an in-ear model that sits deeper in the canal.
